INGREDIENTS
For the churro waffle:
- 1 Golden Waffle, prepared with Complete Waffle & Pancake Mix
- 3 Tbsp. cookie butter
- 2 Tbsp. coarse sugar
- 1/4 Cup dulce de leche, warm
- 1/2 Cup whipped cream sweetened with sugar and seasoned with vanilla
Churro cookie butter:
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon cookies (Biscoff or Snickerdoodle)
- Cinnamon to taste
PREPARATION
To make the cookie butter, mix butter, ground cookies and cinnamon together. Season with a pinch of salt if necessary.
Bake the waffle. Spread both sides of the waffle with cinnamon cookie butter. Plate and sprinkle with coarse sugar and drizzle half of the dulce de leche over the waffle. Top with whipped cream and serve with remaining dulce de leche on the side.
