Been using this mix for years. Don't make waffles with it but plenty of pancakes. Have tried many other GF mixes and this is by far my favorite. Also works great with add-ins like blueberries or chocolate chips. For a while a few years ago they offered it in the old fashioned looking cans. Bags are convenient but I wish they would bring the cans back.
I have been gluten free for a little over a year and this mix is AMAZING! Love the texture, love the way it cooks on the waffle iron. It is a bit dry after a few days in the fridge but nothing a bit of syrup can’t make up for or microwaving it in a damp napkin. It doesn’t fall apart, and it is very moist when first cooked. Haven’t made a pancake out of it, but I absolutely love the waffle. It has a beautiful crisp when placed in the toaster and doesn’t burn easily like other mixed. Just love it!
Best GF pancake and waffle mix I've found over the 15 plus years I've had to eat Gluten Free.Used to come in canisters like the regular mix and I loved that. Now only comes in plastic bags.You already have the canisters for the regular and Robby's. It's just a matter of printing a different label.PLEASE BRING THE CANISTERS BACK!Thanks
Only waffle and pancake mix I will use now! I add one egg, one teaspoon of vanilla, and a dollup of brown sugar to the mix, and you would never ever know they are gluten free. Just a fancier pancake than plain, but his mix tastes best any way it is prepared. I also use it for sweet battering onion rings and anything else that needs a breaded batter. Since being diagnosed celiac over 7 years ago I have tried many brands of gluten free pancake mix; each time I have high hopes, but have been disappointed. Someone gifted this pancake mix to me and it took me over 3 months to try it because of past experience. Just mixing the batter together I saw a difference and then when I had the first bite it was LOVE! The texture was fluffy, moist and smooth. I could have eaten so many more, but had to stop myself to keep from getting a stomachache later. Thank you!!
